In many rural areas of Tirunelveli, families struggle with financial instability due to a lack of awareness about sustainable income sources. SCOPE Trust has launched a comprehensive awareness drive to bridge this gap.
We organize community meetings where we educate villagers about government schemes, banking facilities, and low-interest loans available for starting small businesses. We focus on identifying local resources that can be turned into profit, such as agro-based products or local handicrafts. By providing financial literacy workshops, we ensure that once income is generated, it is managed wisely to break the cycle of poverty permanently. Our goal is not just to provide aid, but to instill an entrepreneurial mindset.
Family Planning as a program that enables parents to deliberately and responsibly decide the number and spacing of their children, by avoiding for the time being, or even for an indefinite period, a birth. The purpose of family planning is to make sure that any couple, man, or woman who has a child has the resources that are needed in order to complete this goal. With these resources a couple, man or woman can explore the options of natural birth, surrogacy, artificial insemination, or adoption. Family planning helps protect women from any health risks that may occur before, during or after childbirth. These include high blood pressure, gestational diabetes, infections, miscarriage and stillbirth.
Economic independence is the first step towards women's empowerment. SCOPE Trust runs dedicated vocational training centers where women are taught market-relevant skills.
Our curriculum includes tailoring, embroidery, food processing (making pickles, jams, and masala powders), and dairy farming techniques. Beyond technical skills, we also provide training in packaging, marketing, and sales, ensuring that the products they make find buyers. Over the last 2 years, this program has helped over 150 women become primary breadwinners for their families, gaining respect and a voice in their communities.
Access to quality healthcare remains a challenge for the poorest of the poor. To address this, SCOPE Trust operates regular Outpatient Department (OPD) services and mobile health camps.
Our team of volunteer doctors and nurses travel to remote hamlets to conduct general health screenings, blood pressure checks, and diabetes monitoring. We provide free medicines for common ailments and refer serious cases to government hospitals with our support. We also focus heavily on preventative care, conducting sessions on hygiene, sanitation, and nutrition to prevent diseases before they start.
The major objective of SCOPE – Sacred Calibration of Public Empowerment Trust is to provide education and related support to underprivileged and vulnerable children. Our teachers deliver quality education to out-of-school and marginalized children, enabling them to progress to the next level of learning.
The Trust also provides essential study materials to needy children and actively spreads awareness in slum and rural communities, encouraging parents to send their children to school rather than engaging them in income-generating activities at a very young age.
Increased access to education plays a crucial role in reducing poverty. The acquisition of basic skills such as reading, writing, and numeracy has a proven positive impact on the income levels of marginalized populations. Education enhances economic returns, strengthens social cohesion, and improves overall economic efficiency by increasing the value and productivity of the labor force. Through education, children from disadvantaged backgrounds are empowered to break the cycle of poverty and build sustainable livelihoods.
With the increasing number of vehicles in Tirunelveli, road accidents have become a major concern. SCOPE Trust has taken up the mantle of educating the public on road safety.
We conduct street plays, distribute pamphlets, and hold seminars in schools and colleges to teach the importance of wearing helmets, following traffic signals, and the dangers of drunk driving. We work in collaboration with the local traffic police to identify accident-prone zones and advocate for better road infrastructure. Saving a life is as important as empowering one.

A visionary project to establish high-quality, free CBSE schools in 15 districts including Tirunelveli, Madurai, and Salem. Aiming to provide world-class infrastructure and holistic education to students from economically challenged backgrounds.
350-Bedded Facility
Construction of a multi-specialty hospital in Maharaja Nagar, Tirunelveli. This facility will provide free and subsidized specialized care (Neurology, Cardiology, Nephrology) to the rural population who cannot afford private healthcare.
